Calibrating Kinect

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone has had any luck calibrating the kinect for projection. I’m attempting to create a template for making interactive surfaces. My hope is to utilize a second window and have the system match the users hands/objects to scale(think mapping or using contour info to interact). I’ve got the interaction and second window covered, but any advice on calibration to match would be much appreciated.

Hi!

Which version of Kinect do you use? If you use Kinect 360, openframeworks and Unity 3D (processing too, but sort of slow in real-time performance) can match what you need. If you wanna use Kinect V2, I guess openframeworks will be the best choice.
